Wait, There Are Museums For TV and Film cars? GTFOH!

Five + 1 of my favorite tv/film cars.

“If you were a superhero character, who would you be?” What superhero character would you cast Ms. Taraji P. Henson as?

MICRO vs MACRO psychology.

Why you should be thanking Dr. Umar & The New Radicals.

And the number one reason why suicide is stupid.

Can you name the film the car belongs to?

  • Eleanor

  • Ironhide

  • Christine

  • DeLorean

  • Ectomobile

  • Death Proof car

MICRO vs MACRO: If you attribute your circumstances to your personal power, you are micro-focused. If you attribute your circumstances to external powers, then you are macro-focused. Yes, two things can be true at once.

As I contemplated renewing my counseling license, I received notice that A.I. had been approved as a therapy medium. Revolutionary? There’s now an app for that. Ridiculous? People paid good time and money to be therapists. I receive it as confirmation-“stay the revolutionary course”. Surely they’ll approve Cinetherapy. Right?

While sorting out the money, a fella offered me a job, twice. Instead I asked him to help me calculate operations costs for a similar business contract-I ain’t heard from him since. Another fella offered me a job. I asked him to let me behind the curtain. He changed the subject. Another fella gave me a book-The 360 Degree Leader. In the book the author discusses-“leading from the middle”. An AHA moment.

WATCHERS: The Dr. Umars of the world are standing in gaps that many of us don’t realize exist. I agree with nearly everything Mr. Jason O. Wilson says. That fella gets it. I too hope Dr. Umar powers on; his dream depends on it. The dreams of others depend on it. Someone is going to learn the word “dream” because of it.

DR. UMAR & THE NEW RADICALS: Thank you. It is quite the task for wholesome (enough) folks to raise funding and support for a school; I can’t imagine doing it as a radical. Nonetheless, “Gots to see it through my boy/girl.”

FUTURE RADICAL: There are some votes you won’t get without a scratch or two. Something else they don’t tell you about radical work is-the fight ain’t just against “the man”. In “James”, Percival Everett makes it obvious who the opps are. In Zora Neale Hurston’s “Moses, Man of the Mountain”, you’ll learn that sometimes you end up fighting the very people you’re fighting for. You should also read Chuck Palahniuk’s “Fight Club”.

MICRO psychology is sorting out your Self.

MACRO psychology is sorting out your future Self.

SUPERHERO: I’m developing a superhero story. You’ll like it. Would you cast Dr. Umar as a superhero? Villain? Anti-hero? I recently saw a clip of Taraji Henson saying she wanted to be in a superhero film. We are far from Marvel, but we do have a villain role that would be perfect. Somebody tell her for me.

A.I.: Thank you for KITT vs KARR. A.I. is really great for the micro stuff. It’s not so good for the macro stuff. Keep up. People are devolving. They want that old thing back, like iPod classics, playing outside, physical copies of books, and human connection.

SUICIDE is a MICRO act with a MACRO effect. It’s stupid ‘cause you’re gonna miss out on some really cool stuff, like what your future Self might accomplish. Instead of suicide, how ‘bout find a gap to stand in. Write a book. Travel abroad. Ask for help. Help someone else. The alternatives are plenty.
